Thank you for your interest in Catholic Mutual. I have been familiar with Catholic Mutual since my ordination as a priest. When I was appointed as Rector of Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon and later as Bishop of Helena, Montana, I made the recommendation to transfer coverage to the Society because of the special relationship of service this organization has with the Church.

Having served on the Board of Trustees since 1977 and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees since 1993, I am convinced even more today that no other organization is better able to respond to the insurance needs of its members than is Catholic Mutual.

Catholic Mutual is the largest single provider of coverage for the Church with 125 Arch/Dioceses and over 250 religious order members.
